Jakarta, 12th February 2020 – PT. Yasunli Abadi Utama Plastik (Yasunli) is the best company in the plastic manufacturing industry in Indonesia. Dating back to its history, the name “Yasunli” was taken from the family name of its founder, Yau. Established in 1980 with only 3 injection machines, today, Yasunli has 309 units of injection machines that are spread among 6 factories located in Bekasi & Tangerang and are being operated by more than 5,000 employees.

For almost 40 years of doing business in the B2B (business to business) world, PT. Yasunli Abadi Utama Plastik has successfully transformed plastic into various products that are able to ease the daily lives of many Indonesians. Many of the products that we are using daily are parts of Yasunli’s contribution such as motor vehicles, helmet, washing machines, printers, and several other products. For the past 10 years, Yasunli has enjoyed a growth of almost 200% where the biggest contribution to this growth was given by washing machine parts production in which Yasunli has 40% of market share in the said industry.

Yasunli Abadi Utama Plastik when met in Press Conference Yasunli 40th Anniversary on 12th February 2020 in Ocha & Bella, Hotel Morrissey, Menteng. For Gojek and Grab, Yasunli has contributed to the production of safety helmets for the driver partners of both companies. Aligned with Yasunli’s spirit to always ease the lives of many Indonesian with their products of superior quality, Yasunli will launch several products that are focused on home & living. Yasunli’s decision of launching these new ranges of products is based on their slogan which is “Shaping Life Together” in which Yasunli relentlessly strives to shape the ideal lives with consumers.

One of the concrete examples of the new home & living products by PT. Yasunli Abadi Utama Plastik comes in the form of lighting products or lamps, which called “The Serenity Collection”. “Our dream is to become the pioneer in the field of local lighting producers in Indonesia among the currently saturated market condition. We would like to show that our products are able to compete with foreign products that are currently holding most of the market share of lighting products which dominated by imported products. We hope that with our new lighting products, we will always be able to accompany the lives of our customers and to always grow together with them” said Jouw Erwin. These new lighting products that will be launched in July 2020 is the pinnacle of collaboration between Yasunli and Yasuhide Yokoi, industrial designer from Japan. These products will later be manufactured and produced in Indonesia.

Apart from always striving to accompany the lives of their consumers with their products, PT. Yasunli Abadi Utama Plastik will also perform their Corporate Social Responsibility program called “Yasunli Color Up Your School” in which they would like to give their best gratitude to many Indonesians that have helped them grow into the way they are now. Yasunli also hopes that their products will help the young generations of Indonesia in improving their spirit of acquiring new knowledge. The program itself is a continuation of what that they have been doing since 2019 where they donated 100 of their lockers, 300 tumblers as well as 50 foldable boxes equivalent to IDR46,5 million to schools and communities that are all situated in Jakarta. For this year of 2020, Yasunli will continue donating their products with the same quantity and value of what they have done in 2019 to several schools that are located in Jakarta, Bekasi, and Tangerang. Yasunli is planning to perform their CSR activities throughout the upcoming March until July.
